Nigel has 25 years’ experience in conducting Cost Benefit Analysis, providing policy advice, formation and analysis, as well as conducting program evaluations, statistical analysis, economic and financial modelling and quantitative evaluation of policies/programs.
Nigel has advised government agencies, utilities and private companies across a wide range of topic areas including natural resource economics, infrastructure planning, utility price regulation and land use planning.
Prior to this he worked as a senior economist at the NSW Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal for 7 years, following 5 years as an economist in NSW Treasury’s natural resources branch.
Nigel holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from Sydney University and a Master of Economics from the Australian National University.
