Alternative Growth Paths

TheCIE was commissioned by NSW Department of Planning to conduct an analysis of the benefits and costs of alternative urban growth paths for Sydney.

The study assesses three scenarios for the benefits and costs associated with accommodating population growth in Sydney. It considers aspects such as the cost of infrastructure, environmental impacts and 'transformation benefits'.

This report formed an important part of the evidence base for the policy approach in the new Metropolitian area.
