Feasibility of Implementing a Mandatory Nanotechnology Product Registry

TheCIE conducted a study on the feasibility of implementing a mandatory nanotechnology product registry for the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.

The report examines the suitability of existing regulatory frameworks to deal with the introduction and uptake of nanotechnology and seeks to identify any potential gaps. It then assesses the feasibility and economic efficiency of the proposed product registry compared with alternative regulatory options.
