Hayden Fisher

Senior Economist

Hayden has more than eleven years experience in providing economic analysis and policy advice. Hayden joined the CIE in 2006 after nearly four years working in the Reserve Bank of Australia’s Economic Analysis Department. Prior to that, Hayden spent six years at the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance, working on a variety of policy issues, including regulation review, CommonwealthState financial relations and state taxation.

Since joining the CIE, Hayden has worked on a wide range of projects in trade and investment policy, price regulation, industry analysis and benefitcost studies. Hayden has a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree from the University of Tasmania.
