Catherine Tulloh

Economist

Catherine joined TheCIE in 2010 as an Economist. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business, Finance) from the Australian National University.

Prior to joining TheCIE, Catherine was a research economist at the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE). Whilst at ABARE she conducted economic research and analysis on domestic and international climate change issues, including using ABARE’s inhouse modelling capabilities. Her research included analysing the impacts of climate change on the Australian economy and agriculture sector; the ability for Indonesian rice farmers to respond to climate change impacts; the impacts of an emissions trading scheme and implications for the agriculture sector; the role of energy efficiency in reducing greenhouse gas emissions; the implications of climate change and climate change response policies for the Australian forestry sector; and contributions to the Garnaut Climate Change Review.
