The framework presented here builds on the 1995 study International Education: Australia's Potential Demand and Supply and the 2002 study Global Student Mobility 2025, using updated available global data on international education.
It includes projections of the number of foreign students coming to Australia (by country). This is done indirectly by building up the projections from a number of key elements, each of which can be determined by appropriate assumptions combined with empirical analysis of the relationship between the key elements.
