Multi-country static general equilibrium models
CIE World Trade Model – David Pearce constructed a multicountry, multisector model of the world economy used to analyse the effects of trade liberalisation. This model formed the basis of the CIE’s Western Trade Blocks: Game Set or Match for Asia Pacific and the World Economy.GTAP – The CIE has frequently applied the model, often with necessary extensions, to a wide range of projects.
