Economic, social and environmental impacts of alternative urban development scenarios for Victoria

The CIE assessed the impacts, costs and benefits of a range of alternative scenarios for accommodating growth across Victoria. The scenarios included Compact City, Consolidated City, Dispersed City, Network of Cities and Distributed State. The impacts evaluated included changes in accessibility, alignment to housing preferences, business productivity, environmental impacts and infrastructure costs.
